We offer tutoring for learning English as a second language. We also can help strengthen English skills.
GED Tutoring
Tutors are available to help prepare for the high school equivalency diploma (GED). Students undergo a pre-test to determine their starting point and see what the likelihood is they will be successful in the GED exam. After getting the results from the pre-test, the student will be matched with a tutor. They will review the results and develop a plan to prepare for the GED exam.
ADULT BASIC EDUCATION
Reading is vital to everyday life, from reading medication instructions, completing forms, ordering at restaurants and even for a job. We have volunteer tutors ready to help our students become more fluent in Reading and develop their language and writing skills.
